On July 26 is Shirley Carter’s Royal Women of Country. Texas born, Nashville raised Shirley Carter features the songs of Loretta, Tammy, Patsy, Dolly and Linda Ronstadt. Carter inherited a rich tapestry of music from her gospel singing dad, Roy Carter, with whom she used to sing, and the Chuck Wagon Gang, having performed at such venues as several times at the Grand Ole Opry, Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl and many Nashville TV shows. Royal Women of Country is 90 minutes of nonstop entertainment, sharing the lives and legacies of these iconic women.
