The East Texas Center for Nonprofits (ETCN) offers training throughout the year to help the regions nonprofits achieve their important work.

The organization offers a wide range of topics and speakers during the year including grant research and writing, board governance, strategic planning, and positive leadership. They will also sit down with nonprofit leaders by appointment to help them work through specific challenges.

Their Nonprofit Management Certificate is a continuing education module for executive directors and senior staff. Participants complete seven full days (spread out over seven weeks) representing 56 hours of learning across a wide range of topics presented by industry leaders.

Another five-session course offers an Advanced Nonprofit Management Certificate covering the characteristics of successful nonprofits, mission and nonprofit transparency, businesslike board of directors, leading people, technology, social entrepreneur, marketing, financial empowerment, vision, and policies.
